Stutzman Says He Can Fix Washington, But His Ideology Says Otherwise
INDIANAPOLIS – Drew Anderson, communications director for the Indiana Democratic Party, released the following statement after Marlin Stutzman chose to not be forthcoming about his real record as congressman in his first campaign ad.
“Marlin Stutzman claims it’s his background as a farmer that will help him be a problem solver in the U.S. Senate. However, Marlin Stutzman and the Republican Party are really the problem for the complete gridlock we see in Washington. From advocating for a government shutdown to voting to cut health care from millions of Americans, including many Hoosiers, Congressman Stutzman has proven time and again that he’s willing to put his out of touch ideology ahead of the overall well-being of the everyday, hardworking Hoosier.”
