GARY, IN. — State Senator Eddie Melton released the following statement after learning of State Representative Karlee Macer’s decision to not enter the race for governor of Indiana.

“Representative Macer is a tremendous leader in our party. I have always enjoyed working with her in the legislature and have further enjoyed getting to know her better as we have travelled the state this summer. As a member of the Democratic Party, I look forward to continuing to work with Rep. Macer as we fight to improve the lives of Hoosier families.”
