Melton reacts to governor’s agenda reveal
“The governor’s 2020 legislative agenda reflects a lack of serious, long-term planning that will create a stronger Indiana for all Hoosiers. He continues to stall in addressing the issue of adequate teacher compensation and fails to attack systemic policy shortfalls that burden our pre-k through 12 system and the students we serve. The future of Indiana depends on investing in our schools, our economy and our healthcare system with a vision and a plan that puts Indiana on a clear path for success. Governor Holcomb’s 2020 agenda makes clear he is not the champion our state needs. Change in leadership is necessary to build a truly Hoosier first path forward.”
